I started this blog a few years ago when I was with a bunch of junior high pastor friends and it quickly became apparent that I was not ready to join the blogging world. Today is a new day, so I think I'll give it another try.
I've been doing middle school ministry for over twenty years and along the way one of the things I've discovered I like to do is talk about ministry with other people who are doing it. Early in my ministry an older youth worker took me under his wing and encouraged me when things were hard as well as cheered me on in the day to day. My hope is that this blog will do the same for a few out there who don't have face to face contact with other youth workers who can fill this role.

Glad you're going to start blogging again! I've been in student ministry for 12 years, but only been doing middle school ministry for 2 years, and feel like I still have much to learn.
